InMedical, Inc. offers a comprehensive selection of nursing-legal services to meet the needs of your cases. A legal nurse consultant (LNC) will analyze records, evaluate the case, and render informed opinions. An LNC is a registered nurse who brings a health science education and clinical expertise to healthcare related issues that arise during the claims or litigation process. The LNC will assist in delineating the complex medical issues of your case, while saving you time and money. The following services can be provided by an LNC: NURSE CHART REVIEW: The experienced LNC will identify, organize, review and summarize the essential records, addressing issues such as relatedness and appropriateness of treatment. Additionally, the LNC will utilize his/her assessment skills and recommend the appropriate physician for your IME or your Medical Record Review. The LNC will also highlight the pertinent medical records and radiological studies needed for a thorough assessment of your case. CHRONOLOGICAL REVIEWS: A typed chronological summary of all the medical and healthcare data will be provided with a comparison to said allegations. MEDICAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION: The LNC can educate you on the complex issues and diagnoses of your case by providing you with expert medical research and treatise information. The LNC can provide you with an illustration of the anatomy and the physiology of all major body systems in order to help you better understand the mechanism of injury in a case. Expertise in healthcare issues allows the LNC to provide the following benefits to the claims/litigation team: COST EFFECTIVENESS: The LNC can analyze the healthcare data in a timely manner. RESOURCES: The LNC is familiar with a variety of methods of research, and will obtain information for your case using medical journals, the Internet, and many other resources. KNOWLEDGE: The LNC has a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry and healthcare issues. EXPERTISE: The LNC has extensive experience within clinical settings, allowing for a comprehensive and accurate interpretation of the medical records and literature provided. FEE - $65.00 Per Hour. The Nurse Consultant can also help you write a cover letter for an independent medical evaluation. 3. InMedical's Nurse Consultant will make recommendations after an informed review of the claim and point you in the right direction in terms of proper case handling and treatment. The Nurse Consultant will also provide recommendations as to what medical specialty would be the best for your independent medical evaluation. 4.
